39. As always, i hate yoga. did just past 30 min. before giving up. i dont know what it is with me and yoga, even with the boost from jack3d, i still dont have the patience to complete it. I need to learn how to love it. :) anyone reading this feel the same way?. Day 40 was legs and back. went through it, little breaks on each routine. switching from pull up bar to bands when i reached my max. Wish I could have switched off from the beginning. I feel the burn from the bands and just love it. Legs burn alot on certain routines that i just stop. Need to work on that as well. Today, I had kempo, went through the whole routine as normal. Sweated like a pig. Feels great. 4 days to go until i post my progress. If you notice, my routines are different from some others, i started day 1 on a Wednesday so my rest days are tuesdays. Not too hard to keep track since i made that little calendar check list. I checked my weight after kempo and im at 152 w/ 15% bf. (not sure how accurate my bf% calculator is) Day 1, I was at 151 @ 16%. I feel bigger but i dont get how im not dropping much bf. Im eating right, keeping up with around 150+ gr. of protein a day but still cant see a drastic change in my weight. There see a change in my body though. I’ll let you guys decide on friday.

Pushed myself hard today. felt really good going through the whole video. Supermans felt great. I did better in reps as wells as the weights. My pull ups were better as well. switched to the green bands at the towel pull ups. On certain curls, i’ll start at 30lbs and do max rep, then switch to 20′s til max. I dont have 25lb dumbbells, so its a big jump in weight. I feel a mean burn though. One week left until my day 45 pics. Then i’ll post all four, day 1, day15, day 30 and 45.

Was a little tough today as I started to cramp  around the left thigh. I pushed through and finished the whole routine. Though not at my best. I’ll check my weight in the morning to see any changes as well as body fat. I feel bigger but i dont see much of my weight changing. Im going to have to start with the 6 small meals a day. Maybe boost my calorie intake, I dont keep track but i know i dont get more than 1500. Any suggestions?

Hiking to the Hollywood sign.

A very tough hike as its practically all uphill. Running half the time, it took us about 45-50 minutes to get to the top. 2.5 miles one way. Great scenery once you get closer to the top. You have views of Burbank, looking from above the hills of Forest Lawn and views of Hollywood and LA.

Before we got to the main trail, a small trail to the south takes you to this. A huge mound with a cave.. if you were fans of old shows, the cave should look familiar as its the cave the bat mobile comes out of in the original Batman. One  cave, three openings, enter from the front and closer to the end, you hit a fork that takes you to a different exit.

Off to the main trail. First few hundred feet, you follow the trail by a creek that stops here.

The view of most of the hike.

30 days done. 60 to go.

I’ve succeeded, well at least, a third of my goal. Phase 1 has gone, phase 2 started today and its as intense as day 1. Im happy with the outcome so far, but i still have a long way to go. No pain, No gain. A saying that holds true to its words. Sometimes I want to push harder that what my maximum repetition but i’ll just hurt myself.

Im starting over. Im at a point in my life where I am content in everything. A loving family, great friends and great future ahead of me. Looking back at what I have written and all the troubles I have gone through that last couple of years. Its safe to say that I can put it behind me and look forward. There were a few things I wished to keep but I have decided to just completely start over. This will be about me, my life as its happening and what i’ll be going through. The people that come in and out of my life, my success and failures and anything and everything in between.

This is where my life is so far.

Im currently a student at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Pasadena. I am currently finishing up my academics in order for me to graduate. So I am off the kitchen for the next 3 months. I landed a job at Walt Disney World in Florida and I start in August working in Epcot for the Food and Wine Festival. This will be my first true job in the industry. I have gone back into fitness training and keep a good, healthy diet. Everything is paying off and I should be back to where I was a few years ago within the next few months. I am not in any relationship, and I choose not to. I am comfortable where im at, so change isn’t something im looking for at this moment. I have dropped most of my old hobbies, and am sticking to my fitness. Hiking is something im picking up and hopefully be done on a weekly basis.

We’ll see how much everything will change a year from now.
